Description

Short title: Bainbrigg v Attorney General.

Plaintiff(s): Thomas Bainbrigg.

Defendant(s): Attorney General, and Anthony Atkinson, Her Majesty's searcher in the port of Kingston-upon-Hull.

Subject of depositions: Port of Kingston-upon-Hull (Yorkshire). Charge against defendant of allowing goods to leave that port for Holland, Scotland, "uncustomed" i.e. without proper custom dues having been paid thereon.

County/place: Yorkshire.

Date of commission: 22 September 1601.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 8 October 1601.
