Description

Short title: Cole v Amondesham.

Plaintiff(s): Johannah Cole alias Plum alias Plume, widow.

Defendant(s): Gideon Amondesham, Thomas Smyth, Thomas Dewell, John Elsworth, Richard Larchin, John Cole, the elder, William Cole, Robert Brant.

Subject of depositions: Close called "Tomwells" lying in Heston (Middlesex), the manors of Isleworth Syon andHeston. Whether the close was "Tattersall's land" and held of the manor of Isleworth Syon before it was granted to Sir Thomas Gresham. Customs of manor. Alleged encroachment on common lands.

County/place: Middlesex.

Date of commission: 25 May 1601.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 6 June 1601 at New Brentford.
