Subject of depositions: Four "grist water mills, called Durryurd Mills" parcel of the manor of Durryurd, in the parish of St David, in the city of Exeter, lying on the river Exe, and in the possession of plaintiffs; and touching also certain grist water mills and fulling mills (of defendants), in the parish of Upton Pyne (Devon), formerly belonging to Humfrey Larder. Alleged injury caused by diverting the water from mills. [The city and the manor of Durryurd held of the Crown by the corporation in fee-farm by the annual rent of £25 12s 6d and John Drew (tenant of plaintiffs' mills), are mentioned].
