Subject of depositions: Demesne lands belonging to the town of Ludlow, which town was incorporated by Edward IV by the name of the bailiffs, burgesses, and cominaltie, and which demesnes, were granted by the corporation "with the exception of Ludlow Castle and Castle Mead" adjoining. Touching the continued threshing (by defendants) of certain corn inned upon the demesne lands, notwithstanding an order (40 Eliz) of the justices of assize for Shropshire to forbear so doing. Touching the office of bailiwick of Ludlow, its emoluments, etc.
