Description

Short title: Coston v Coston.

Plaintiff(s): Thomas Coston.

Defendant(s): John Coston, gent, John Coston, yeoman, Richard Browne.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to a messuage in Coston, in the parish of Clunbury (Shropshire), late in the tenure of Thomas Coston and his wife Elizabeth (father and mother of plaintiff and defendants); whether said premises are parcel of the late priory of St John of Jerusalem, in England. [Roger Kynaston, the marriage of his daughter with John Coston, gent, the marriage of John's daughter to Thomas Cludd, William Coston, and Richard Hughes, of Witton, and his wife Katherine, are mentioned].

County/place: Shropshire.

Date of commission: 27 June 1599.
