Defendant(s): Ralph Atkinson, bailiff of East Witton Manor, and keeper of Midlam Castle.
Subject of depositions: Castle called Midlam Castle, and a wood called "Hammer Wood" lying in the manor of East Whitton, and a tanhouse in Jervax. Abstraction of lead and bells from the castle. Sale of "springs" in said wood since the death of the Countess of Lenox. Spoil in the tanhouse. Alleged general maladministration of office of bailiwick by the defendant.
