Description

Short title: Hodson v Mason.

Plaintiff(s): Jane Hodson.

Defendant(s): John Mason.

Subject of depositions: Cottage or tenement in New Malton, in a street there called "Old Malton Gate" in occupation of defendant, by grant from Her Majesty. Whether assigned by him to Alexander Linge, of New Malton, and by Linge to Isabel Thorpe. Alleged setting fire to and carrying away timber of the cottage by defendant and others.

County/place: Yorkshire.

Date of commission: 21 May 1599.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 3 October 1599 at New Malton.
