Description

Short title: Pumfret v Raymond.

Plaintiff(s): George Pumfret, clerk, vicar of Little Donmowe (Essex).

Defendant(s): Jerom Raymond.

Subject of depositions: Vicarage of Little Dunmowe alias Dunmowe Priorie (Essex). Tithes. Whether the Earls of Sussex have been, since the dissolution of the religious houses, accounted owners of said church and tithes. [Sir William Gray, Sir Francis Cambridge, Sir Richard Walker, Mr Booth, Mr Ford, Mr Dorden, Sir - Stockdon, and Sir John Lowe, vicars since the dissolution, John Raymond, farmer, of Little Dunmow Priory, Mr Giles Raymond, Sir John Green, and Mr A. Moore, vicars before the dissolution, are mentioned].
