Description

Short title: Issott v Moorhouse.

Plaintiff(s): Robert Issott.

Defendant(s): James Moorhouse, Thomas Carter, Richard Allen.

Subject of depositions: Chantries of St Katherine, St Nicholas, the Holy Trinity, St Mary, St John the Baptist, the Rood Service, and St Mary Magdalen, in Doncaster (Yorkshire), and right and title to their possessions in Doncaster and Newton (Yorkshire), granted by the Letters Patent of Queen Elizabeth, 14 Eliz, to Robert Sheffield and John Farr, and by them to plaintiff, etc. Alleged prior right of defendants to the premises by unexpired lease.

County/place: Yorkshire.

Date of commission: 15 November 1597.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 19 January 1598 at Doncaster.
