Description

Short title: Broughton v Geene.

Plaintiff(s): Morgan Broughton, John Taylor, Peter Roydon, William John ap Howell, Hugh ap Thomas David ap Thomas John ap Richard, John Crewe, Thomas ap William , Richard Maddocks.

Defendant(s): William Geene, John Johns, and his wife Anne.

Subject of depositions: Manor of Ridley, parcel of Her Majesty's lordship of Bromfield and Yale, (Denbighshire); touching a lease of the manor taken by John Greene, and alleged undue influence and practises used by Greene to obtain such lease. Composition with tenants of the lordship. Survey.

County/place: Denbighshire.

Date of commission: 28 November 1597.
