Description

Short title: Conham v Studley.

Plaintiff(s): Abraham Conham, clerk, parson of Gussage Bound alias Gussage St Michael.

Defendant(s): John Studley, Nathaniel Studley, Charles Studley, Richard Scovell, Her Majesty's patentees.

Subject of depositions: Farm of Gussage Bound, and the rectory or parsonage of Gussage Bound alias Gussage St Michael (Dorset). Tithes. [Adam Hill, Hollys, a pension of 5s. paid formerly to the late monastery of Shene (Surrey), and since to Sir William Uuedale and William Brodstock, receivers of part of the revenues of the monastery, are mentioned].

County/place: Dorset; Surrey.

Date of commission: 28 November 1597.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 16 January 1598 at Gussage St Michael, delivered into Court 23 January 1598.
