Description

Short title: Morgan v Howell.

Plaintiff(s): Griffin Morgan.

Defendant(s): Thomas John Howell, John Thomas, John Richard, Thomas John David, Nicholas David Gruff, Francis John Phillip Price, Robert Thomas.

Subject of depositions: Water corn-mill, called "Melyne Mondeguy" in the parish and lordship of Llanstephan (Carmarthenshire), late parcelof the possessions of Sir John Perrott, knight, attainted of treason. Touching the refusal of defendants to do "suit and sock" to the mill. Customs of lordship.

County/place: Carmarthenshire.

Date of commission: 25 November 1597.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 5 January 1598 at Carmarthen, certificate dated 14 January 1598.
