Description

Short title: Harrington v St Pole.

Plaintiff(s): John Harrington, William Carr, Robert Kelk.

Defendant(s): George St Pole, kt, Anthony Southill.

Subject of depositions: Lands in Lincolnshire, Yorkshire, Hampshire and other counties, including the manors of Haugham and Hibalstowe, together with the parsonages impropriate of Haugham and Witham, and other manors in Kirkby Lathorpe, Ingoldsby, Barnaby, and elsewhere, in Lincolnshire, granted by Henry VIII to John Broxholme and John Bellow. Touching the payment of the yearly 10th of £15 2s 2d (reserved on said grant) by Sir Thomas St Pole and Gerard Southill.

County/place: Lincolnshire; Yorkshire; Hampshire.

Date of commission: 15 June 1597.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 18 July 1597 at Lincoln, delivered into Court 3 February 1598(?).
