Description

Short title: Countess of Warwick v Phillips.

Plaintiff(s): Anne Countess of Warwick.

Defendant(s): Robert Phillips, Robert Gorway.

Subject of depositions: Manor and lordship of Shenston (Staffordshire), and the manors of Barr and Aldrich (Staffordshire), and a waste or common ground called "Colefield" alias Hardwick alias Hardwick-in-Colefield (Staffordshire). Metes and bounds. Perambulation. Common of pasture. Tithes. [Thomas Stanley, farmer of the parsonage and tithes of Shenston, Edmond Walker, parson of Aldrich, and Mr Fisher, steward of Shenston Manor to the Earl of Warwick, are mentioned].

County/place: Staffordshire.

Date of commission: 15 June 1597.
