Description

Short title: Jane v Welden.

Plaintiff(s): Dame Jane Wyatt.

Defendant(s): Ralph Welden.

Subject of depositions: Ancient or common highway called "Keystreate" dividing the parishes of Southfleet and Swanscomb (Kent); whether it is parcel of the highway leading from Rochester to Dartford and so to London? Woods belonging. Metes and bounds. Alleged trespass by defendants on plaintiff's woods adjoining such highway.

County/place: Kent.

Date of commission: 15 June 1597.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 30 September 1597 at Rochester.
