Description

Short title: Baker v Sands.

Plaintiff(s): Elizabeth Baker, in formâ pauperis [in the form of a pauper].

Defendant(s): Samuel Sands alias Sandys.

Subject of depositions: Copyhold lands called "Dodinge" in Comhampton, in the manor of Ombersley (Worcestershire), relinquished by John Pipe to the farmer of such manor in favour of plaintiff. Customs of manor. [Richard Barnsley, bailiff of the manor, is mentioned].

County/place: Worcestershire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1597.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 15 March 1597 at Ombersley.
