Description

Short title: Facer v Wilcox.

Plaintiff(s): John Facer, Thomas Watson, William Asheby, Robert Harbert, and others.

Defendant(s): Thomas Wilcox, Rowland Wilcox, John Wilcox, Nicholas Hilliard.

Subject of depositions: Her Majesty's manor of Yelvertoft, granted by Her Majesty to defendant Hilliard for 21 years. Alleged collusion of defendants to destroy the interest of the plaintiffs, who are tenants of the manor. [The names of Richard Comberford, Thomas Everett, and John Dassett, former tenants of the manor, Edward Marshall, John Springfield, William Medbourne, and John Mawby, are mentioned].

County/place: Northamptonshire.

Date of commission: 30 June 1596.
