Description

Short title: Cadwallader v Matthew.

Plaintiff(s): John Cadwallader and his wife Helen.

Defendant(s): Evan Matthew.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to lands called Tirr Phillipp Vaughan, in Kery (Montgomeryshire); whether parcel of Kery manor, and granted by Queen Elizabeth to Thomas Odingselles, at a yearly rent of 5s and by him Thomas to defendant. Claim of Jevan ap Morgan to the premises as freehold lands.

County/place: Montgomeryshire.

Date of commission: 21 May 1596.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 25 June 1596 at Kerry.
