Description

Short title: Holt v Creswell.

Plaintiff(s): Thos Holt.

Defendant(s): Anne Creswell, widow.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to lands "in question" said to have been granted by the Crown, about the year 20 Eliz, to John Wilson, late of Lichfield (Staffordshire), and by him demised to John Creswell (defendant's late husband). [The names of Edward Holt, Richard Scotsfeld, William Hampden, Thomas Watwood (for whose debt the premises are said to have been "extended" and seized by the Crown), are mentioned].
