Subject of depositions: Commots of Mallaen Kethynock (Caio?), and Maynordilo (Carmarthenshire). Touching an ancient custom in said commots, called in Welsh "gwaber merch" or "amaber" and in English "a fine for alienation" otherwise "Leatherwitt" i.e. " to pay to Her Ma'ty ten shillings for the daughter of every freeholder married, as also for every such daughter as should be deflowred. ".
County/place: Carmarthenshire.
