Description

Short title: Holt v Creswell.

Plaintiff(s): Thos Holt.

Defendant(s): Ann Creswell (widow), Edward Creswell, Nicholas Creswell.

Subject of depositions: Lands in Upper Stonnall (Staffordshire), in possession of defendants. Whether William Hampden, deceased, granted such premises to William Holt (plaintiff's father); and whether John Wilson who took a lease of the premises of the Queen, was hanged at Lichfield for murder.

County/place: Staffordshire.

Date of commission: 9 July 1595.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 30 September 1595 at Birmingham.
