Description

Short title: Morice v ap John.

Plaintiff(s): John Morice.

Defendant(s): William ap John Lewes, Jevan ap John Lewes, Hugh ap Robert ap Tydder, John ap Robert ap Griffith.

Subject of depositions: Lands in the townships of Kilken, Trovarth, and Maesegwig (Denbighshire), and in the parishes of Llanvaire, Llangernew, and Bettus (Denbighshire), parcel ofthe lordship of Denbigh, belonging to the Earl of Leicester, and granted by him to the plaintiff; whether such premises are escheat lands of the lordship? Right of common. Metes and bounds. Survey. [John David Lloyd (farmer of the premises, to Edw VI) is mentioned].
