Description

Short title: Hedworth v Smyth.

Plaintiff(s): John Hedworth, William Hedworth, Her Majesty's farmers of the rectory, vicarage, late dissolved deanery and prebends of the collegiate church and parish of Chester-in-the-Street.

Defendant(s): Robert Smyth, Thomas Punshon, John Harrison, John Walton, Robert Darling, Nicholas Skirrow, Henry Martin, Cuthbert Huchinson, Katherine Mayres (widow).

Subject of depositions: Hamlets of Plansworth, Walridge, and Woodsie, parcel of the late collegiate church of Chester-in-the-Street. Tithes. [Sir Ralph Coppinger, Mr Anderson, and Mr Lewin, farmers of the collegiate church, are mentioned].

County/place: Durham.
