Description

Short title: Gage v Roughead.

Plaintiff(s): Thomas Gage.

Defendant(s): Leonard Roughead.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to a messuage and 34 acres of land in Hartwell (Northamptonshire). [The names of John Church, of Hartwell (father of Eme. Church), who was married respectively to Richard Roughead (defendant's brother), Richard Richardson, and to the now plaintiff, Thomas Gage, and a grant of lease of reversion of the premises by the Queen to Thomas Thorowgood and Freeman Young, are mentioned].

County/place: Northamptonshire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1595.
