Description

Short title: Delaye v Bayly.

Plaintiff(s): David Delaye.

Defendant(s): Lewis Bayly.

Subject of depositions: Meadow and tenement in Clee St Margaret (Shropshire), lately in the tenure of William Symkys, deceased; whether parcel of Holgate Manor (Shropshire), and parcel of the late priory of Wenlock (Shropshire); an annual rent of 3s is said to have been paid to the Crown for the meadow.

County/place: Shropshire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1595.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 15 April 1595 at Holgate.
