Description

Short title: Errington v Woodrington.

Plaintiff(s): Ralph Errington, of Bingfield.

Defendant(s): Henry Woodrington, nephew of the late Sir Henry Woodrington, deceased, Benjamin Woodrington.

Subject of depositions: Manor of Colwell, and plaintiff's right of common of pasture on a moor called Colwell Moore, adjoining to the town of Bingfield, and in a piece of ground called "Errean" (Northumberland). Metes and bounds. Survey. Alleged encroachment on the moor by defendants. A grant of common of pasture by Crown to plaintiff by Letters Patent, about the year 34 Eliz, for a yearly rent of 20s.

County/place: Northumberland.

Date of commission: 28 November 1594.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 16 January 1595 at Morpeth.
