Description

Short title: Wright v Heath.

Plaintiff(s): Margaret Wright, Richard Wright, Hugh Wright.

Defendant(s): John Heath, Richard Kaye.

Subject of depositions: Towns of West Merrington, Middle Merrington, East Merrington, Ferry-on-the-Hill, and Hett; and particularly touching coal-pits sunk in a moor or waste ground called "Spennymoor" parcel of the late priory of St Cuthbert, Durham. Metes and bounds. Right of common of Her Majesty's tenants of Tuddoe and Whitworth on the moor. Touching the right of the Dean and Chapter of Durham to the tithes, of the moor in right of the parsonages of East Merrington and Branspeth (Durham). Customs of the manor of Branspeth, lately belonging to Charles Earl of Westmorland, attainted.
