Description

Short title: Bishop of Hereford v Story.

Plaintiff(s): Herbert Bishop of Hereford.

Defendant(s): Sylvan Story, Thomas Cave, Anthony Harford.

Subject of depositions: Colwall Park, in the manor of Colwall (Herefordshire), parcel of the bishopric of Hereford. Touching leases of the park and dilapidations in the premises belonging to the bishopric. [John Story, late Bishop of Hereford, and Margery the wife of William Elton, married afterwards to Edward Threlkill, are mentioned].

County/place: Herefordshire.

Date of commission: 19 June 1594.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 4 September 1594 at Bromyard.
