Description

Short title: Lawnce v Gurnay.

Plaintiff(s): John Lawnce.

Defendant(s): Henry Gurnay, John Tann, William Gall, Oliver Neele, Steven Gall the elder, and other inhabitants of Hargham, viz. Andrew Rowse, Steven Gall the younger, Anthony Allen, Roger Wells, Adam Plumbe.

Subject of depositions: Manor of Hargham (Norfolk), waste ground called Hargham Common alias Harfham Common, and the commons in the hundred of Shropham (Norfolk). Whether the owner of Beckehall in Wylby put cattle on the common? Metes and bounds. Common of pasture.

County/place: Norfolk.

Date of commission: 14 June 1594.
