Subject of depositions: Collection of Her Majesty's 1st, 15ths, and 10ths, within the wapentake of Thurgarton and Leigh (Nottinghamshire). Touching the refusal of defendant to pay tax levied on his shop, in Mansfield and Southwell (Nottinghamshire), levied on him by plaintiff who was deputy to William Sutton, of Averam (Nottinghamshire), high collector of said 10ths, in the 29th year of Her Majesty's reign.
County/place: Nottinghamshire.
Date of commission: 15 June 1594.
Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 4 October 1594 at Southwell.
