Description

Short title: Thorp v Gurden.

Plaintiff(s): Joyce Thorp, widow, of John Thorp, deceased, son of Robert Thorp, deceased.

Defendant(s): John Gurden, John Reade.

Subject of depositions: Cell, manor, or priory of Freiston, and the rectory and parsonage of Freiston and Butterwick, and the manor of Claxbie (Lincolnshire); touching the rights of plaintiff as administratrix of her deceased husband; her marriage portion, etc. [A lease by John Thorp to William or Francis Cheyney; lease of the manor of Claxbie (Lincolnshire), sold by defendant Gurden to Robert Thorp for £1,500; value of the lordship of Torsey, a conveyance thereof to Sir Robert Germayne, and the possessions of Robert Roger, Judit hand Alice Boswell, are mentioned].
