Description

Short title: Countess Dowager of Rutland v Scudamore.

Plaintiff(s): Isabel Countess Dowager of Rutland.

Defendant(s): Thomas Scudamore, receiver or deputy receiver of York.

Subject of depositions: Late priory of Warter (Yorkshire); what sums defendant or his deputy Richard Spacye alias Sparcye levied upon the plaintiff's tenants of the manor or priory of Warter (Yorkshire) in the name of Her Majesty's tenth or rentcharge, in the years 1589, 1590, 1591, 1592, and 1593, and what distresses were made?.
