Description

Short title: Attorney General v Awder.

Plaintiff(s): Attorney General.

Defendant(s): Thomas Awder, woodward of all the woods within the soke of Somersham.

Subject of depositions: Alleged "waste and spoil" in Somersham Chase (Huntingdonshire), belonging to the bishopric of Ely, and now in the hands of the Crown by reason of the vacancy of the See.

County/place: Huntingdonshire.

Date of commission: 11 June 1594.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 2 September 1594 at Somersham.
