Description

Short title: Queen v Bellamy.

Plaintiff(s): The Queen and Robert Kimberley.

Defendant(s): Thomas Bellamy, of Kentish Town (Middlesex).

Subject of depositions: Lands in the possession of William Bellamy, of Harrow-on-the-Hill (defendant's father), in South Mymbes, called "Old Norton" sometime in the tenure of Thomas Bird, and now of John Morson, lands in Hadley, called "Colefridges" sometime in the tenure of William Bellamy, of Enfield (Middlesex), lands in Hadley (Middlesex), called "Saulters" sometime in the tenure of Hugh Nightingale, lands called "Chimpmes" lands in Hadley, late in the tenure of Alexander Williams, and lands called "Newmans" and woods in Hadley, called "Gotherolls." Value of the premises in the last year of Queen Mary and the first four years of Queen Elizabeth. Who received the rents, etc.

County/place: Middlesex; Hertfordshire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1594.
