Description

Short title: Brierly v Stevenson.

Plaintiff(s): Arthur Brierly.

Defendant(s): Thomas Stevenson.

Subject of depositions: Cottage and premises, late of William Brierley, and since of his widow, Isabella, in Armyn (Yorkshire), parcel of the manor of Armyn, conveyed by Edward Hembrugh alias Pyman, who married Isabella, to Thomas Stevenson. [A grant ofthe manor by Queen Elizabeth to John Horsfell, William Moore, and others, is mentioned].

County/place: Yorkshire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1594.
