Description

Short title: Vanse v Laizenbie.

Plaintiff(s): Thomas Vanse.

Defendant(s): William Laizenbie.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to a cottage and 12 acres of land belonging and 6 acres of land situate in Cawthwaite, in the Queen's manor or honor of Peareth (Cumberland); whether granted by the Crown, 4 and 5 Philip and Mary, to Thomas Vanse (plaintiff's father), at the yearly rent of 8s 4d and granted by the present Queen to the plaintiff, 22 Eliz; whether they are "lease lands" and not "customary" lands.

County/place: Cumberland.
