Description

Short title: Shueswell v Rawood.

Plaintiff(s): Richard Shueswell, clerk, John Illman.

Defendant(s): Hugh Rawood, clerk, vicar of Ditchling (Sussex).

Subject of depositions: Land called "Lockstrode" in the occupation of plaintiff Shueswell, and land called Otehale Inhomes, in the occupation of plaintiff Illman; whether the lands are in the parish of Wevelsfield or Ditchling. Perambulation. Tithes.

County/place: Sussex.

Date of commission: 14 July 1593.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 11 September 1593 at Cookfield.
