Plaintiff(s): Richard Gray.
Defendant(s): Thomas Mace, John Mace.
Subject of depositions: Manor of Compton Abdal, and the rectory there, held of the late priory of St Oswald (Yorkshire?). Whether the prior of St Oswald (Yorkshire) did suit of court to the manor for his lands in the manor called "cropthorne" alias "cropthorner" land. Rent paid by the prior for the land to Sir Thomas Chamberlain and the Bishop of York.
County/place: Gloucestershire; Yorkshire.
Date of commission: 12 February 1593.
