Description

Short title: Harrington v Hird.

Plaintiff(s): James Harrington, brother of William Harrington.

Defendant(s): John Hird.

Subject of depositions: Troutbeck Park and "Lockhow" and "Dalehead" lying in the park (Westmorland), held by plaintiff's ancestors for 200 years last past, and held by plaintiff of the Marquis of Northampton, or other owners thereof, at a yearly rent of £20. Touching right and title to "Lockhow" aforesaid. Custom of tenant right. [William Warde, lessee of the premises to the Crown, is mentioned].
