Description

Short title: Thrift v Wentworth.

Plaintiff(s): James Thrift, Robert Porter, and the rest of the inhabitants of the town of Barnsley.

Defendant(s): Matthew Wentworth, John Downe.

Subject of depositions: Building in the town of Barnesley (Yorkshire), formerly belonging to Edmund Brockhouse, and said to have been endowed by him for the relief of the poor. Touching the execution of the trust.

County/place: Yorkshire.

Date of commission: 5 February 1593.
