Description

Short title: Farrand v Waller.

Plaintiff(s): Charles Farrand, clerk.

Defendant(s): William Waller, Henry Mason, John Thompson, Giles Fothergil, William Sowreby, Roger Dent.

Subject of depositions: Hospital of St John the Baptist, in the town of Barnard's Castle (Durham), and the lands belonging, within the lordship of Barnard-castle;whether given for the relief of the poor and the maintenance of a master, or for "superstitious uses." [Sir Richard Lee, knight, is mentioned].

County/place: Durham.
