Whether such lands were ever given for "superstitious uses. "[Sale of the lands by Henry Egerton, son of John Egerton and Anne his wife, to Edmund Hall and Francis Guevara, and by them to Robert Saunderson (defendant's father), and the guild of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Church of St Botolph, in Skidbrook, are mentioned.] "Concealed lands "?.
