Description

Short title: Mylles v Bambro'.

Plaintiff(s): Richard Mylles.

Defendant(s): Thomas Bambro'.

Subject of depositions: Leases of the manor or lordship of Foston and Thornton (Yorkshire), one made by Her Majesty to the plaintiff, Thomas Mamon. George Tailor, Thomas Cave, James Bell, Robert and Ralph Martin, Thomas Tailor, and William Cave for 21 years, dated 23 May 32 Eliz, at a reserved rent of £4 12s; another lease made at Gorhambury, 15 July 19 Eliz, to Richard Statham, to commence from the death of Sir Ralph Bagnall, kt, at a rent of £28 17s 7d and assigned by Richard Statham to John Morley and William Spencer, esqs. Alleged attempt of defendant (who purchased the fee simple of the manors of the Crown) to set aside the lease (to the plaintiff and others) by causing George Tailor (one of those others) not to pay his portion of the rent reserved. Also touching right of common.
