Description

Short title: Scudamore v Dalby.

Plaintiff(s): Thomas Scudamore.

Defendant(s): Elizabeth Dalby, widow of George Dalby, Richard Grenburie.

Subject of depositions: Overton Town, the Hall House there, the Connye Garth, Overton Woods, etc. Alleged "waste and spoil" caused by defendants in said premises. [Grant, under Letters Patent, of lease to Elizabeth Herbert, widow, dated 11 February 15 Elizabeth Emott Tindal, Francis Dalby, Susan his wife, Edward, Richard and John Dalby (executors of Francis) are mentioned].

County/place: Yorkshire.

Date of commission: 14 June 1592.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 25 September 1592 at York.
