Description

Short title: Ward v Driffiel.

Plaintiff(s): Roger Ward, William Wright, and other the freeholders, and others of Her Majesty's manor of Roskell.

Defendant(s): William Driffiel, John Goodryck, Thomas Wear, and others.

Subject of depositions: Towns, manors, and lordships of Easingwold, Raskell, and Hubye (Yorkshire), and particularly touching a parcell of land called "Raskel Land" and the moors and wastes within the forest of Galtres (Yorkshire). Metes and bounds. Right of common. Survey.

County/place: Yorkshire.

Date of commission: 14 June 1592.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 19 October 1592 at Alne.
