Description

Short title: Tichiner v Clavell.

Plaintiff(s): Henry Tichiner, clerk, Archdeacon of Dorset.

Defendant(s): John Clavell.

Subject of depositions: Parsonage of Kymbridge, in Purbeck Isle (Dorset), belonging to defendant; whether the parsonage is liable to the payment of "procurac'ons" to the archdeaconry of Dorset; whether the "peculiars" in said archdeaconry, though exempted from "visitations" yet pay yearly "procurac'ons." [The "peculiars" mentioned are Corfe Castle, Gillingham, Sturmyster Marshall, Milton, and Stowerpaine. Mr Canner and Dr Cottrell, Archdeacons of Dorset, are mentioned].
