Plaintiff(s): Richard Gresham.
Defendant(s): Samuel Bevercotts, son of Anthony and Philippa Bevercotts.
Subject of depositions: Mills in the town and manor of Ordsall (near Retford, Notts), on the River Idle, lately belonging to George Mackworth, and formerly to Sir John Hercy, knight. Alleged injury to Her Majesty's mills in Ordsall, Retford, caused by the erection of mills by defendant. Right of fishing in the river.
County/place: Nottinghamshire.
Date of commission: 12 February 1592.
Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 28 March 1592 at East Retford.
