Description

Short title: Bricket v Arden.

Plaintiff(s): Thomas Bricket.

Defendant(s): Johanna Arden et al. wife of John Arden alias Arderne, attainted of high treason.

Subject of depositions: Lands in Morton Pinkney (Northamptonshire), lately belonging to John Arderne; whether the lands were entailed to Thomas Arden, his brother; whether they were granted by the Crown to plaintiff as lands forfeited for high treason.

County/place: Northamptonshire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1592.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 28 March 1592 at Brackley.
