Description

Short title: Baynham v Keylock.

Plaintiff(s): Thomas Baynham, Josh. Baynham, Thomas Brayne, James Berrow, George Gough, George Catchmay, George Weroll, tenants and freeholders to the Queen's Majesty, within the forest of Dene.

Defendant(s): William Keylock, Richard Bowles, Richard Sisemore, and others, the inhabitants of Minsterworth and Tibberton.

Subject of depositions: Forest of Dene, parcel of the duchy of Lancaster, the manors of Mynsterworth and Tibbertote, parcel of the duchy, the townships of Huelfield, Alvington, Aylberton, Lydney, Pirton, Awre, Rudle, Newnham, Bleysdon, Longhope, and Handsome, and the free tenants of St Brevells (Gloucestershire). Common of pasture in the forest [William Gwyes, farmer to the Crown of the forest, is mentioned].

County/place: Gloucestershire.

Date of commission: 27 November 1591.
