Plaintiff(s): John Brownlee alias Bromley, and Douglas his wife.
Defendant(s): Francis Farre, Thomas Mawe, John Mawe.
Subject of depositions: Certain "flatts" called "Ealand Flatt, etc." in Epworth (Lincolnshire), and the manor of Epworth (Lincolnshire); whether the tythe of the "ninth sheffe" off such premises was formerly paid to the hospital of St Leonard's, in the city of York, under the name of "St Leonard's tithe." [The Earl of Derby and the Earl of Lincoln, lords of the manor, are mentioned].
County/place: Lincolnshire; Yorkshire.
Date of commission: 29 November 1591.
Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 12 January 1592 at Epworth, in the Isle of Axholme.
